SDG I-Flex™ Saddle

The traditional saddle rail design has been with us for decades and while it works well enough, it does have distinct limitations when it comes to weight, price, and strength. A leader in the high-end saddle market, SDG originally developed the revolutionary I-Beam™ saddle system to meet the needs of hard-core free riders who were always breaking their traditional railed saddles. The I-Beam™ system replaces traditional saddle rails with a single carbon-composite beam. An unforeseen benefit was a dramatic reduction in weight: the wide and well-padded saddle that we use weighs only 200 grams, lighter than many Ti rail saddles. Other benefits include 200% more fore-aft adjustment to fit a wider range of riders, and super simple one bolt adjustment.
